Theme 1: The Feminist Movement

How has technology furthered the feminist movement?
Have feminist goals changed with the rapid development of technology?
Is there such thing as "female work" or "male work"?
How has technology furthered the feminist movement? Have feminist goals changed with the rapid development of technology?

Theme 2: Technology, Education, and Politics

Cyborgs do not interest themselves with "human" concerns of community and values. Is this a valid construct for the very human aspects of politics? of education?
Should Haraway's ideas of "feminization of work" and the Homework Economy be applied to education? How?

Theme 3: The Political Myth

There no longer seems to be a seperation between machine and organism, as "biological organisms have become biotic systems." Why does this onthological seperation no longer exist? And is this a positive change?
As Haraway states, "why should our bodies end at the skin?"

Theme 4: The SF Feminine Cyborg

Are the cyborgs found with SF culture counter-representitive of the feminist movement? How could SF show the feminine cyborg as non-masculinated?
Is this even possible in that cyborgs, by Haraway's definition, are the "illegitimate offspring of militarism and patriarchial capitalism"?
